Hi. I’m Suzanne.

I’m Suzanne Harrawood, a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a lifelong fascination with language, communication, and the ways people connect with one another.

Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, I studied language and literature—a path that eventually led me to the science of communication and a career I’ve loved for more than a decade.

Today, I work with children, teens, and young adults with all kinds of communication needs. My experience spans public schools, private practice, and teletherapy, and I’ve learned that good therapy has to start with the person in front of me.

A path shaped by a love of language.

My interest in communication began long before I became a speech-language pathologist. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature and later a master’s degree in English Language and Literature, studying language first through the lens of literature, writing, and the humanities.

Speech-language pathology gave me a new way to understand something I had always found fascinating: how people use language to think, learn, connect, and participate in the world around them.

I went on to earn my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have since worked across public schools, private practice, and teletherapy.

Credentials.

Beyond Speech.

When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, writing, crocheting, or spending time with the people I love. I’m endlessly curious, always have another project in mind, and am happiest with a good book and a cup of coffee nearby.

And yes, I’ve been a Snoopy fan for as long as I can remember.
